One of Lancaster’s best loved bands, the Balkanics are a 7-piece band playing a highly original and dancable take on music from Eastern Europe, including Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece.

The band features Hugh Tuffen (Cello), Roger Purves ( Bouzouki/Guitar), Sian Philips (Accordion), Paul Ferguson (Fiddle, Guitar), Jane Lawrence (Fiddle), Joey ‘Balkanic’ Murphy (Whistle) and Dan Fox (Percussion, Trombone, Beatbox).
